The location is good and the rooms are in very good condition. During our stay, the front desk was moved and the outdoor pool and hot tub was closed during our stay. When the room was booked online, there was no mention that construction would be taking place and the outdoor pool and hot tub would be closed. Availability of these amenities was the reason why we booked this property.

Upon arrival discovered that the hotel was under construction and the pool and hot tub were closed temporarily. When they were open there were no jets available in the hot tub. The night manager on Saturday night was very rude and argumentative and seemed bothered by our request for a shuttle ride. Probably because we interrupted her smoking. Over all our experience was well below our expectations.

The ONLY thing that was on a downside was that they started doing some kind of renovation near the lobby so there was a lot of debris being chucked into metal trash bins. The sudden noise was a tad overwhelming for my children and I. Other than that, everything was as outstanding!

Under construction

I called before i booked my stay. No one mentioned it was under construction. When i got here i found out about the construction. They had trouble gett my room combination put together but they made it works. Once in my room it took 3 hours 2 phone calls to get out tv to work. Outside pool and hot tub were closed the first night. Next day we left hotel. It was noisy and dusty from construction. When we came back we had to walk through construction and dust to get to our room. It was not nice. Elevator was shacky and scary. Breakfast on first day nothing hot was served. Next Breakfast they had cold sandwiches you could heat up. I booked this place on reviews bec3they said they had wonderful breakfast it was a huge disappointment because it was under construction. They should have shut down hotel with the amout of work they were doing. Lots of people were upset that we talked to that stayed here.

Was not made aware that the property was under construction. Had booked this property based on the fact that it had breakfast included and a hot tub, just to find out that hot tub had been closed that day and their kitchen was no longer operational due to the construction, so it had turned into a “grab and go”. Was also charged twice by the property, but the manager was very quick to rectify.

The good is the included breakfast, even if very limited options, and plastic/disposable plates and cutlery. We had a suite room with a wet bar and microwave and expected there to be at a couple of glasses and some bowls or plates or something. But there was absolutely nothing - plenty of cupboard space to fill with your own from the nearby Safeway store. The free ride to/from the ski mountain is great and also the free shuttles to downtown and the airport.

We had a great stay at the Pine Lodge. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating to our needs. Free shuttle to and from airport and the mountain made a long weekend ski trip with my daughter a breeze to do without a car. They even give rides to town whenever the shuttle is available, which was most of the time! Close to town, restaurants, and groceries. Will be back again!
