The property was clean and the hallway smelled great. Our rooms smelled a little musty and our room had 2-3 red spots on the carpet that looked red like blood so that kind of creeped me out other than everything was clean. Our door was extremely hard to open my husband had to body slam the door for it to open and it was really loud like we were breaking the doors down lol. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was wonderful also. We loved the location. We walked right over to Cracker Barrel to eat and also Golden Corral is right in front of the hotel they share a parking lot.

Always a joy staying at this hotel. Andre who works at the front desk always greets my granddaughter and me, by first name, no matter how many months go by. The only real problem I had with this last stay was that there was this man on the second floor, where our room was, he was sitting in the chair by the elevator. First day he was there when we left at 10am and still there when we returned at 7pm. He was there for 3 days! I asked the lady at the front desk, Andre was not there, who this man was. She said he was okay and not to worry. I felt extremely uncomfortable with this!! Especially since it was just my granddaughter and me which HE observed!! Hopefully this won’t occur on our next visit. We love this hotel!

Desk staff was excellent and very helpful. The lady in the breakfast area was friendly. The room had a nice appearance but there was only one chair in the room - an upright desk chair and the shower, bathroom area was cramped. There was nowhere to put shower items - just a soap dish. So 5 stars for staff and cleanliness but 4 for room design. Bed was comfortable.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The pool was refreshing after long days touring Williamsburg. The front desk staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The hot breakfast was a bit disappointing - there were typical continental breakfast items - cereal, mini muffins, juice and coffee, and then the hot breakfast had scrambled eggs and two forms of sausages each morning. It would be nice to see more variety, such as other breakfast meats and potatoes. On our last day, we decided not to bother with the breakfast that was included in the price of our room.

Have stayed here twice now and the stay is always great. Ms Judi at the front desk is an absolute sweetheart and the property is well kept with comfy beds and a shower with great pressure! Will be back again for sure.
