The smell in the room was overwhelming. The light outside our room door was not functioning. The door lock was duct taped to the door. The peep hole in the door had a tissue stuffed in it. The ceiling tiles were dirty with a hole one tile covered with tape. There was no coffee or pot but there was a coffee machine. The carpet was dirty. There was no TV channel guide or motel directory. The breakfast was horrible-hard inedible French toast sticks, watery eggs.

This is my third time staying here and keep giving the place the benefit of the doubt before I ever spoke on it. First time they gave me a room someone else was already in. Mind you when I walked in they where laying in the bed. Not a good feeling. Then after getting a new room it was a down grade from what I payed for. Now I got a room and when I enters the bath room the damn light was very dim. The build was going out. So I switched it with one that was in a lamp. Problem salved. Then I noticed the temperature on the room being a bit chilly. Tried to adjust and the fan just won’t ever shut off and the cover for the heater attached to the wall was half broken off. Good hell how could someone walk in to clean this dive and not notice a damn thing

The room was clean. The staff manning the front desk were alwasy very helpful when I needed something. They were friendly and attentive. The breakfast was good and I was happy to have coffee each morning. Wish the coffee was available at 6 am on weekends like weekdays.

The standard room that I occupied was exceptionally large and well lit, with much more counter space than I usually encounter, including in the bathroom. The bathroom is split in two parts, with the toilet, bath, and a counter behind a sliding door

The second queen bed in my room had a big conspicuous stain on the blanket. The room had an odor that is strong and unpleasant. I got up to go for breakfast across the parking lot to the main building and I saw a man with a gun standing like waiting for someone. Texas is open carry and ND is open so why did he try to hide the gun from my view? He then moved in between some trailers to further hide away from view. That got me uncomfortable. I went back to my room. Good that I was on 2nd floor. I alerted the front desk and gave it a few minutes of safety before I stepped out again Not a pleasant experience overall
