All Staff was SOOOO Very Nice and Sweet, they gave us a clean room they changed our Towels and Sheets. we heard no Noise from Others Next Door, we venture out and swim and hit the weight room twice, and went to a couple of area restaurants in the radius area which was Yummy and thanks and we will be back and tell friends Too.

The heat didn't work in the bedroom but as soon as I reported it they took care of the issue. The Sonesta is one of the best hotels in Newark! I have stayed there over 50 times in the past 4 years.

The hotel is very dated. The carpet in the hallway is faded & dirty. There was a homeless man in the stairwell & he had the back exit door propped open all night. I booked here because so many people said it was clean. While the room itself was clean, the rest of the hotel was not.

My three day stay was great. Staff were really friendly and helpful. My only thing was the hot water was lukewarm and the fold out bed had no sheets on it. I had to go request bedding. I would stay again.

The room had major damage from water in the bathroom and the sink area that had been there a long time. The bed had a broken under the bed area that stuck out making it a hazard. Blood or something on the curtains when I opened them. Stains on the inside of the wardrobe that had been there a while. Overall every time we stay at this location it gets worse and worse. And we found a huge cricket in the bathroom. Probably drawn in to the water because of the cold. This is our last stay at this location. And we come a few times a year. And why is the cafe area never open? Only the over priced cash snacks available.
