This hotel is not very convenient location, close to downtown Winston Salem. The vintage feel of the property was lovely, but along with that came the creaking of the old floor boards from guests walking in the room above mine…while I was trying to sleep.
Also, the windows were sealed, but with A LOT of very visible dust and cobwebs behind the glass. Hopefully, you won’t want to open the blinds as I did. The room and bathroom were clean with well-appointed necessities. The room contained a coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator. The included breakfast buffet was okay. I did not partake in the unique added extras of evening wine and cheese, and bedtime cookies and milk.
