It was fine for the night - 3 lights didn’t work in the room. Did reserve a room With couch but upon checking in our room Didn’t have one. It was too late in night to go request a new room. But hotel Was definitely not full

It overall was an okay for on the go type stays. The rooms were obviously redone but someone not knowing what they were doing with texture all over fixtures and paint on door stoppers. Tiles in the bathroom were cracked, the tub did not seal for bathing my infants. Cribs are not available post COVID either so make sure to bring your own pack n play.

Dirty room made stay uncomfortable.

The floor of our room was not vacuumed, nails from a previous occupant were obvious. The door plate was on our counter. The thermostat on the heater is broken. The toilet paper hanger is loose. The mirror in the bathroom had the last occupant's flossings. The refrigerator was grungy. The room needs more furniture, like maybe another chair and a table. The linens and towels are nice.

Room was very dirty had to use a washcloth to clean greasy finger prints off, counter in room also filthy when we washed it the cloth come out brown. Floor had dirt and debris along edges and under chair, all lamps dusty along with around microwave and coffe maker. The mirror in the bathroom had toothpaste all over that looked like it had been half wiped off. Toilet paper holder falling off the wall, the lock plate came of when we opened the door. The ONLY reason we didn't leave is because the other closest hotel was booked!

Bad bed great jacuzzi

The room itself was great. Nice, big jacuzzi. Nice sized bathroom. The breakfast was good. Lots of hot choices with sausage, waffles. The downfall of the night was the rock hard bed. It was so uncomfortable and unfortunately my husband and I had a horrible sleep. The rest of the stay was great though.

During my stay I captured a small beetle flying around my room. When I woke up the next morning I noticed they were all over my room. Everything seemed okay initially. When I returned with my dinner, I started flying around my room. I thought it was a fly at first but noticed it was a beetle. I showed the manager when he came to my room and he pointed out dead ones by the door. He never offered to change my room. It was the next day when I opened the curtains and used the chain to retract the blinds did I see the horror. There were dead bugs that fell out of the blinds. They landed on the window sill as I opened the blinds. There was one on my toilet seat. When I tried to flick it into the toilet water, it flew away. There were two more in the bathtub. I was grossed out. The worst part of it all, they were all in my bed. I must have killed some of them as there were remnants of dead, crushed beetles all over my bed. It was just disgusting! I will never go back! The hotel manager refuses to issue a refund. Stay away from this location. There are better hotels in Mauston.

not so great in the cleanliness department

once we get into the room and settle in i notice a few stains on the white bed blanket on one of the beds. i just blew it off because it was a late night and just wanted to go to bed. we ended up needing to stay there again the next night so i booked another room and they put us in the exact same room. low and behold the sheets were stained in the exact same spot on the exact same bed. pretty sure they dont wash there blankets. good luck yall.
