🚫 AVOID THIS HOTEL – FILTHY, UNSAFE, AND DISHONEST We arrived to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and were given a room that was absolutely filthy—bugs, stains, bad odor, and a leaking tub. We reported it right away, and even contacted Expedia. The hotel now claims we said nothing—a complete lie. They moved us to another room just as dirty. Even my 10-year-old had to explain to staff how unsanitary it was. That night, police were outside, and we were told we’d only get a refund if we left immediately—at midnight. We checked out that same day and booked another hotel. They offered a gift card to a place we’d never stay at again instead of owning up to the conditions. Now they’re denying everything. This review is to warn others—don’t trust the photos, and don’t risk your family’s safety.

We stayed across the street at the VUE motel because it was significantly cheaper than the VUE boutique hotel. Our room was in rough condition, had a tiny stuffy bathroom, and was very sketchy. We could hear the people above us stomping from 6 am onward each morning and with only one A/C unit we were thankful we were there on cooler days or it would have been very unbearable. However, the “perks” were amazing with our stay. The wildlife park, Natura inflatable park, pools, beaches, and suspension bridge that was included saved us a lot of money and kept our family entertained. Additionally the hotel is in a convenient location and we were able to get around the Dells easily.

Great stay at reasonable price

Location is very convenient. Comfortable stay. Front desk person (Cindy?) is pretty unpleasant; I remember her from a previous stay. Obviously not a deterrent for our staying, but I feel sorry for the people who have to work with her.

We stayed in the older part and the rooms were ok. The website is deceiving as other than a small pool, all the other attractions are a 5-15 min drive. Our room had a small wall AC unit which was ok. This was an adventure and will most likely not stay here again.

We stayed 2 nights. After we came back from our activities we wanted to take a shower, but all we have is hot water. The water was too hot to even take a shower. We had no cold water whatsoever. We talked to the front desk and they said the maintenance person was not there and they would have so many look at it in the morning in the morning. No one came so we had asked again they fixed it and we did have cold water, but the pressure of the water was so low that we could barely take a shower and get the soap off our body therefore we really didn’t be able to use the shower and it was hot 95° with the heat of 105 and very humid so we were all very sweaty. Also, the second night we were there. The people next to us were so loud their kids and banging on the walls that the TV almost came off the wall. It’s very noisy there and the walls are very thin.

This property was just as advertised. This property gives you access to other properties owned by the brand . We were within walking distance to downtown dells. It was worth the money we paid.
