I booked this room particularly for a Father's day celebration to use the pool. I was notifed upon check in that the pool was out of order,with no apology or explanation as to the reason for the pool being out of order. Another issue is the manager that is working today very uncourteous and rude to the staff. The following morning on 6/16 at approximately
I asked the hotel staff a the front desk
With the manager who was standing at the front desk at the time testing on her phone and did not even acknowledge or greet me. She replied, “check the pool yourself”
As I responded “ I was told the pool was out of order, can you check please?
She then refused to acknowledge me and ordered the gentlemen to check the pool. I felt very uncomfortable with this exchange because it was rude and unprofessional. I was also uncomfortable with the way she addressed the front staff desk worker, who she ordered. This person is representing Crowne Plaza Hotel and left a bad impression and was not helpful at all. This was horrible customer service on her behalf and as a patron I will be not returning to this establishment. I observed her behavior and body language with other staff as I was working in the lounge area near the front desk for about 2 hours Her behavior is rude,mean. Very unwelcoming to the patrons and borderline intimidating to her staff. The quality of the customer service by this person was abysmal. Furthermore, I felt bad for the workers that have to deal with this.
