Staff was very attentive and went above and beyond. Room was very large and accommodating. The restaurant staff was very helpful and the food was very good. We could not use the pool due to weather but it looked inviting and clean. Plenty of parking and a quiet location on the edge of town. Will stay here again on our next visit.

The room was great, parking was easy, front desk staff was friendly and check in was easy. The best park of this hotel was the dining room and the staff! Food was awesome, bartender made a mean Old Fashioned!

Won’t stay again

Decided to give this hotel a shot over my usual places in the Dalles. Booked a king suite with a pool view. When I checked in, I got a king suite, but with no view let alone a pool view. The gal at desk initially was very nice, but seemed annoyed when I went back down and questioned my reservation. Telling me all she had were two queens with a pool view. So I took it. No apology, no rate adjustment. I was now paying the Suite rate for a standard two queen room. The room itself had issues with the toilet flushing and it stopping, the screen door to the balcony was stuck and very hard to open or close. The restaurant, the food was decent, the staff was friendly, but they seemed to struggle if they got rushed and would ignore people who stood there waiting to be seated. It was honestly very disappointing and I will not be staying their again.

We were told that breakfast was available in the mornings, and we were also told that a Coffee place “Wasco” would also be available in the mornings. Neither were available when we came down at 7:30 am. I tried to ask, but nobody was available at the desk. When I return to my room, I messaged as a reply to a message that I received from the front desk asking for room service. I received a reply that they would be with me shortly. 10 minutes later, I received another reply, saying they would be with me shortly. To this day, I have not received a reply back. When I wanted to complain, it asked if I wanted to receive a call back, you can see in the picture that I sent asking for a callback, but never received one. The bathtub was dirty and so was the toilet. The best part about the room was the bed. The amount that I spent for two nights was way more than what I received.

The accommodations are comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and efficient! The only problem encountered was there’s no elevator anywhere on site. I have MS and hiking up and down the stairs was more of a physical challenge than I care to encounter again.

Nice view and very nice spacious lobby area and room is, too spacious with laminate floors which we really like. Hotel offers a restaurant where is little pricey and a cafe. The hotel let us earlier check in and we think they gave us upgraded room? Not so many guest were staying the hotel during week days, but we hear lots of noise from upstairs and doors shutting sounds from outside. We are glad we brought noise cancellation machine. One more! We received a letter from the hotel through Expedia, thanking us to book and saying complimentary breakfast from 5:00 a.m every day. This was birthday celebration relaxation trip, we were happy to know this info. But the hotel staff was not friendly and denied this offer. Next morning, the person who appeared like a manager offered us breakfast sandwiches for us after we mentioned this wrong information from the hotel. Hope they changed the letter for future guests. And we didn’t place a sign for not to bother, but they didn’t come to clean our room. We disappointed.

No breakfast included.

In multiple locations, a full continental breakfast was mentioned as having been included. It was a huge disappointment to learn that it was no longer an option under the new ownership. We only book hotels with breakfast included due to the rising cost of literally everything. Had I known, I would not have chosen this hotel.
