Clean, new rooms. Comfy bed. Great location. Check in was easy and they offered us fresh cookies. However, they charged an almost $10 "historical fee" that was never mentioned when I made the reservation. New, clean bathroom with nice shower, but wish it had a shelf of any kind to hold a razor. However, the pull-out mirror was amazing and useful. The breakfast was basic. Plain eggs, bacon and sausage were good, but all else was meh. I would have appreciated some flavored creamer besides the half and half. On sight restaurant, Graze on Main, was a little pricey, but good.

Staff were very helpful and courteous. Room was spotless and well furnished with furniture & lighting giving it a “homey” feeling. Loved the walk-in shower. Bed was a little too soft for my preferences. Nice having a restaurant on the premises in the cold weather.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The room was very clean and quaint. We enjoyed browsing the history in the lobby and having dinner at the bar. Everyone was super courteous and hospitable. We enjoyed walking the block before departing in the morning. Thanks for making our travel plans educational and fun! Beautiful views from the rooftop patio!

Our underage son was rudely questioned about his service dog by a male manager. His questions could have been directed to the parents/adults, or at least done with more couth and compassion. The air-conditioning in the room was not working properly. Someone came to the room to adjust, but then directed us to not to adjust again so we just need to keep the temperature it is. We choose this hotel not because it has lux amenities, but because of the customer service, friendliness and welcoming feeling it offers. That was more than lacking during this visit. The

This was a treasure!! The room was extremely comfortable and the food for our dinner at Graze was DIVINE. This is on top of the Edith Bolling Wilson Lore which was fascinating. Finally, the staff were all incredibly personable. We look forward to returning!

Historic hotel with lots of charm and good amenities. Rooms were very clean, and surprisingly spacious for an older hotel. The restaurant and bar were also quite good. Parking was convenient and being in the center of town made walking around the town easy as well.
