The room reeked of bleach like the second you walked in. That’s all you smell the whole time. I just felt like I was breathing in chemicals. It was horrible. The bed was uncomfortable. The room was small and the furniture and appliances were ancient and almost unusable. I really don’t know why this place has such good reviews?! It’s terrible! Just because the people are nice doesn’t mean anything. I had a horrible time. It was a scary stinky motel room. I would not recommend this place at all.

This hotel is small and old, but I loved it. It was very clean, well cared for, and provided all the comforts possible. I loved the covered but open space that reveled a flat area that was walkable to the beach when we stepped out the back door. The cute electric fireplace was a sweet touch. The bed was very comfortable and had crisp clean linens. I definitely would stay there again.

Step back in time on the beach

This is an old-fashioned single floor drive up to the door motel, with small rooms, DVDs, books to borrow and old-fashioned glazed buttermilk donuts and fruit for am - no decaf coffee for this proud to be from another era place. The checkin office is a bit hidden in the “elbow” of the building. The bedding could do with a little less detergent (was itchy) but water pressure in shower is nice. The highlight is a great empty field between the rooms and ocean- good for outdoor games or a fire at night - with a short stairway down to sand. It’s fun, relaxed beach accommodations for people who want to spend most of their time outdoors.

Wonderful place I highly recommend

This was one of our favorites. Quaint little motel, nicely decorated, very inviting The front desk guy was wonderful and very friendly. They even had games and movies you could take to your room..we did. The town had lots of nice restaurants we ate at Luna sea fish house and I had the best clam chowder I've ever had. Cute town and friendly people.

This place was great. It is very dog friendly which is very important to us. It has a large lawn area and a stairway directly to the beach. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and provided a water bowl, blanket and towel for our dogs to use. We will definitely be back when we can.

Ocean front, quaint motel perfect for a roadtrip up the coast! Such cute little rooms just 5 minutes down the road from cute restaurants and shops in Yachats. Loved it and wished we had more than one night there!

I loved this place. When I checked in, I was given a bag of goodies for my dog (Including a bowl, treats, poop bag, towels and a sleeping mat). Right on the beach. Great area for walking around. The front desk clerk gave me valuable guidance on local restaurants and places to see.

We booked this motel quite late in the day after a long day of driving and sight-seeing. It is located on the seaside, with a large grassy area before a short walk to the beach. Although we were only able to enjoy the sunset. The property is several years old but some work has been done to upgrade the rooms - it was relatively clean and comfortable, inside and out for our one night stay. Staff were friendly and helpful!!

Lovely overnight stop

I loved waking up and walking out to the beach right from the property. The place was clean and tidy. Looks like a great place for those traveling with pets—lots of guests with dogs. The DO have “no pet” rooms, too, if being dander-free is important to you.
