We like the location of this hotel and its proximity to Short Sand Beach. The staff is friendly and the food is convenient but there is nothing fancy or outstanding about this well-established place, which is fine. The rooms are large enough for a family of 5 and parking is easy. We stay here several times a year and always have fun. (Anthony’s on the highway is great for a slice of pizza or a good sandwich!) York is a favorite.

Booked room with ease. Only issue was not initially getting the room I had booked. The front desk clerk was able to make the change without any issues. Very clean, neat and comfy. The beds are the best! Great view from my balcony. Amazing food at the Pub. Always enjoyable here.

Union Bluff is situated in a serene and jaw-dropping area next to the beach of the Gulf of Maine. The main hotel is very dated. The carpeting, doors, bathroom tiles and furniture are from the 1960s or 70s. There were old, large (2 ft in diameter) oil stains on the carpeting in front of the elevator on our floor. The bedding had an odor of sweat mixed with strong bleach. The great things are that the staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. The room had everything we needed-a bed and a bathroom. There's a restaurant on the first floor. The lobby was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The location was in Cape Neddick about a mile away from the Nubble lighthouse.

Couple vacation

Positive, Nice view, free parking, able to control climate in room, shower water pressure was great, beds were small for people over 5’10” but comfortable. Negative, water damage stain on ceiling, room is very small standing on top of one another with just two people. Bathroom was very large, however, had a pedestal sink nowhere to put toiletries, musty, mildew, smell was very strong, coffee was not good at all, lighting in room was poor.
