We checked in at approximately 11:00pm - we were the only ones checking in and it took way longer than it should have. The "free" continental breakfast is a disgrace, they should NOT be able to advertise that as part of the property listing - NO coffee available, the machine was broke!?! NO other beverages available. They only has english muffins, bread or bagels - NO butter, only a few packets of jelly...VERY DISAPPOINTING! The Hot Tub was broke...Grrrr! The bar of soap was maybe 1"X 2", you could barely hold it in your had to scrub yourself, we had to go to the store and buy a real bar of soap to use! No maid service if you stay under 4 days, but NO place to hang our wet towles - we had to drape them over our chair and clothes rack.

It wasn't bad of a place, but yeah, their continental breakfast is you're better off buying breakfast and uh, the coffee is always on back order. The room was pretty nice. Other than they didn't clean the bathroom very well. I found woman's hair in the bathtub when I went to go take a shower. And I don't have any hair but if you're in a pinch, it's not bad.

Hotel needs to update facilities. Advertised queen beds only double/full. Very small space in bathroom, had to straddle toilet to shut door. Shower curtain about to comes off the rod. Add toilet is very small. Needs to get bigger/taller toilets

Not worth it

The sink was clogged and backed up. The toilet barely flushed. They give you 1 tiny bar of soap for 2 people. The continental breakfast was nothing we'd eat. Overpriced for what the room was, it's double the price that we've paid for similar. It was the only room available in the area for that night. We were up for an event.

Room was clean and quiet. Entry and hallways were cluttered with cleaning equipment. Advertised as lakefront, which it is not. Advertised on Expedia like the restaurant "Jimmy's" is part of hotel. Hotel breakfast was quite limited and not associated with the restaurant.

Do not go there!

I was supposed to get the apartment type room but it was not available. Did not get a email or phone call. Had to stay in a standard 2 queen room because i had a king size bed jacuzzi room is not big enough for 4 people. Still had to pay the amount agreed upon for the apartment suite and the continental breakfast was only bread and water so i will not be choosing this again.

Check in staff super rude.

check in staff basically interrogated me because they didn’t think I was 21. Then told me that my buddy staying with me also has to be 21 and apparently needed to check both of our ID’s. Then sat and questioned us asking if we were gonna be throwing parties in the room. Kind of a joke to deal with after a long day of fishing. Was up in Northern Minnesota fishing for 4 days, long 12 hour days on the water. Definitely no partying going on. Super rude and felt very discriminatory.

The waffle maker was dirty. Coffee wasn’t made. Reception guy sat outside smoking while myself and another customer were at desk to check in. The reception guy took almost an hour to check in. Cleaning people did a good job but had to walk past their smoking outside door. Overall find a different place to stay.

Quiet, comfortable, no frills but priced accordingly. No lake view through the trees, but right across the street from the water. Parking lot is generously spaced allowing for vehicles with boats on trailers.
