Okay, booked a room with two queen beds but got one queen and a sofa bed. No blanket for the sofa bed. We made it work but not what we paid for.

my usual hotel was booked & this is where i ended up. lobby was beautiful, employee at the desk was very kind. even asked if i was comfortable on the first floor “because some women don’t feel safe staying there when traveling” kind of made me nervous as if they’ve had issues in the past but i did appreciate the consideration! bathroom wasn’t the cleanest specially in the shower. the other guest were extremely inconsiderate, slammed doors & yelled up & down the hallway til after 4am (no they weren’t children, grown ass adults) clearly drunk. i felt very uncomfortable the entire stay but toughed it out because it was only one night. needless to say i personally won’t be back.

2025 Deco Crete business trip

Room/shower had hair in it that didn’t belong to me. Shower had mold in the track and brown streaks on the wall. Desk has spill marks down the front of the drawers. Mirror had fingerprints from previous guests. The soaps in the shower were open containers that could easily be tampered with from previous guests. I purchased this room in hopes of a comfortable, clean stay for my business trip but had a hard time feeling comfortable with the obvious signs of the previous guests surrounding me.

Needs Better Communication About Pool Updates

Pool was supposed to be open on 2/23/2025 but when we stayed on 2/26/2025, it still wasn’t open. Whole purpose of our trip was to come up and stay in a nice hotel with a a hot tub, go shopping at the mall and try a few breweries. The location of the hotel was great but I was very very disappointed with the pool area situation. From desk girl was nice but managers were no where to be found to see about how to rectify the hot tub issue.

When I arrived the pool and hot tub were closed for remodeling. I could not cancel via expedia as it was a same day reservation. It was same day because the weather was so terrible we didn't know if we would be able to make the trip. My intention was to take my wife to Mike's Place in Kent to celebrate our 17th anniversary, as we had met there. Thus upon arriving and being told this I was disappointed and found a new hotel. The hotel I found was their sister hotel, Staybridge North Canton. I booked onsite when I arrived, thus paid for two rooms at different establishments. You can see weather hesitation was an issue as I cancelled the room at Kent State University hotel a couple days ago not knowing if we could make the trip. Any help with refunding this or perhaps crediting a future stay would be appreciated.

The showerhead in our room seemed to spray in all different directions and the shower leaked all over the floor while using it reported it to front desk, they said they would look at it when we checked out. I was also not a big fan of the continental breakfast not many choices and scrambled eggs tasted funny
