Room was okay. Halls stunk horribly. Staff was not friendly at all. Disappointed overall.
If I could do NEGATIVE stars on this place I would! They denied my child’s service dog even with the heads up notice that we had him! They tried asking for documentation on him and that is ILLEGAL according to ADA law! When I showed them on the ADA website and told them this law the supervisor called on the phone and claimed they had a “certification” for ADA and that I wasn’t “fooling” them 🙄 I went ahead and paid the “Pet” fee of twenty dollars per night and then made a report to the ADA and Also to the Wyndham hotel corporate. And within 20 minutes I got a call down to the front desk and the super visor was on the phone AGAIN and said they weren’t keeping our reservation and asked us to leave IMMEDIATELY right After I just got both of my special needs kids settled in our room. So $300 later and a lot of hassle and having to last minute find a close town by with a hotel so I could get my family settled so I could get to rehearsal dinner for the wedding I was in (I was 1.5 hours late after all this! And I was the maid of honor!” I still have NO justice! I called corporate to make a complaint about them kicking us from the hotel after we were in our room and paid and they said my first complaint from like 40 minutes earlier was already DENIED. Even though they were ILLEGALLY denying us. On that hotels website it says service dogs are allowed as by what ADA defines as a service dog and that’s exactly what our dog is and has been for 6 years now.
Just needed a place to sleep for two nights while in town. Smaller rooms, but comfortable and provided what we needed.

Doesn’t have elevator. Steps are hard to go up and down with luggage. Very small motel.

Property is clean, bathroom fan is noisy. Front desk staff not very friendly, but its late, maybe she is tired. Pillows are not very nice.Otherwise, good value for money
Host was very accommodating. Rooms were clean. The only complaint might be the heating/cooling unit seems a little loud for my liking. Overall a thumbs up.
The desk worker (I assumed also the owner) was friendly and helpful. He showed general interest in what brought us to stay in Melrose. The staffed seemed happy and seemed to work hard! The room had updated carpeting and furniture and looked like they were trying to improve their hotel.
