Stay away

We stayed 4 nights. Had to beg for new towels. Asked front desk how do we get our room cleaned. The front desk girl said they would tell housekeeping and then turned their back to me and stepped away. Southern hospitality has gone out the door. They said the room gets cleaned every 3 days. It was never cleaned the whole time we were there. The sink did not have any drain plug.

After checking in and getting into my room late at night, I get in my room and there is gnats everywhere. I contact the front desk to see about changing rooms and they’re saying because I booked through Expedia they couldn’t help me. Eventually, after me telling them something had to be done, the front desk staff told me that they were going to talk to the manager to see what they can do. Long story, short, they ended up moving me to a standard room, which I paid for a suite and said I need to go through Expedia to figure out about the partial refund. Get into my second room, and the TV does not work. We had to get Housekeeping staff to come in and get the TV right. Both rooms I went in the phones were disconnected and not working to call the front staff. Had to use personal cell phone. There were kids running down the hallway late at night being loud. I also got a queen suite with two queen beds, and one of the beds had a big dirty spot on the blanket, the other one had a very visible brown stain on one of the pillows. There was a rag still on my shower rack from the previous guests. And the refrigerator barely cooled. Will not be staying here again, not worth the money.

The first rook we were in had a terrible smell. It smelled old and was musty. The room felt “wet” like there may have been a leak or something. The beds were also “damp” and made your clothes feel like that after sitting on them. Stains all in the carpet. Went to front desk and they quickly changed our room which was a little better. Still had a stuffy feel and smell but better than the first. Hallway had smell of marijuana and there was dirty rags on the floor outside of numerous rooms.
