Skip the Breakfast

The facility itself is wonderful. The lobby is beautiful and the grounds are outstanding. Outdoor seating area is pretty with comfortable and plentiful seating and beautiful landscaping. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The downside to the room is no exhaust fan in the bathroom. One person showers and the mirror is dripping wet for a long time after. There is a sink and mirror by the bar in the room but the lighting there is poor. The biggest negative was the breakfast. The eggs and sausage were cold and the coffee was flavorless.

The bed was a little too firm for my liking. The breakfast wasn't as good as I expected. I expected homemade breakfast but it was your typical chain hotel breakfast. Did like how clean and quiet it was!! Would stay again.

Berlin Grande not what it's cracked up to be

Hotel positions itself as top drawer but doesn't carry it off: Breakfast served green bananas, tiny portions, cleaning floor while guests trying to eat, unappealing quality. Bath soap cake was size of a half dollar, not a single grab bar in bath tub (very unsafe). Room to room sound proofing a joke - could listen to people in next room talking.

Rooms were spacious. Breakfast ladies were nice one day then today we asked for a slice of cheese and the woman said they aren't going to have enough for the next day. Then I was getting scrambled eggs and i wasn't finished but the woman took the spoon and put it on the tray and closed the pan lid and walked away. Rude!!! I wanted sausage she just filled up. Lastly, people were coming in at 9:45 (closes at 10) and lady told them people were taking too much food. She said she was going to make a little something but I never saw them bring anything out. We wanted to see extra security locks so no one could open door. Also need fans in bathrooms.
