Hotel staff was nonchalant about informing guests about the room and hallways being carpet cleaned. No information was available outside of a letter stating that the cleaning was to occur on a 1 day notice. Further inquiries were deflected with an answer of "I don't know". Personal effort was required by this guest to exempt our room from the carpet cleaning by seeking an audience with the General Manager. No assistance or follow up by the hotel front desk
