For how much I paid, I was hoping for better. The shower drain didn’t work properly. The front door didn’t shut properly. The toilet would rock. A towel and bed coverings had stains on them.

Note, if you are booking in the summer, these units do not have air conditioning. Fortunately, the weather was pleasant while we were there, but on a hot day, you would notice the absence. They did provide fans once we got used to the timing, the shuttle was a nice way to get into the city within 5 to 10 minutes. Also, important to know that if there are more people than spaces in the shuttle, particularly at the last run of the day, the shuttle driver just makes another circuit. It got a little rowdy with some aggressive guests, trying to shove their way on the driver was very calm and polite. If you’re going to be staying in Banff after 915, you will need to taxi back to the resort. There is no Uber.

Property location is good, pickleball courts are very nice and easy to book/use. The online room photos show larger rooms and a more updated property. The exterior parts of all buildings are worn out, in need of structural repair and dated. The hot tub outside was recently remodeled and very nice. On 2 occasions we saw homeless individuals in vehicles parking areas connected to the properties electricity. (2880 bldg) staff was wonderful and is the reason reviews are 3 stars and higher.

Overall our experience was great. Although the location was a bit inconvenient, being a few min drive away from downtown Banff and had to pay for parking whenever we drove into town, it offered a quiet nights rest. I wouldn't mind staying there again, although, I would still look for other options as well.

The reception staff are very arrogant, and when we entered the room, the stove was covered in grease, the bathroom window was dirty, and there was a lot of dirt on the carpet. They need to improve the cleaning. It's not that cheap, so the most basic things aren't covered.

Beds were rather firm for my taste. Bathtubs deep and water was hot. Kitchen well appointed with some dishes and cutlery. While the facility is clean and attended, I can see they'll want to refresh decor in the next few years but it is wonderful for the price. I love the fact it is NOT in the mess that is hotel row downtown

I picked this property with the promise of being nestled in the mountains. It felt like a Motel 6 and was just as expensive as the hotels in the town of Banff. There was nothing special at all. Spend your money elsewhere.

We loved our stay in Banff. This hotel is located just outside of town which was perfect for us. The hotel does have a shuttle to downtown. The rooms are big and clean. The pool was nice. The workout room was very outdated, but in Banff no one should workout inside. We had elk come through the property every night. My family loved our and stay and we would come back.

Check-in staff was not friendly. Cabins are dated & older, and for the price, one would expect the cabins would be maintained better. There was a kitchen in our cabin, but no oven baking dishes, and no oven mitts. The upstairs toilet was very wobbly and probably needs a new wax seal. When you sat at the dining room, the rug would push up, and it's a fall risk when walking.

Beautiful large comfortable and clean room with fully stocked kitchenette. Great views of the mountains out the windows. Friendly staff and good amenities at the resort. Extremely quiet but we were there during off season. Only complaint are the very steep and narrow stairs to access the second floor but that is stated on their website.

We were very disappointed in this property. We were supposed to stay four night nights, but left early due to the condition of our condo. There were holes in the wall, stains on the ceiling and the couch was so gross and old I didn’t want to sit on it without a sheet to cover it up and even then the springs were poking through making it very uncomfortable. The WiFi was also very spotty/inconsistent and the shuttle only ran every couple hours so we ended up having to wait quite a long time after dinner, especially since there were no Ubers available. It do not run at very convenient or consistent times. The staff was very helpful though, and offered for us to go to a newly renovated room, but we decide to stay somewhere else for our remaining two nights.
