The room was comfortable and had very nice beds. The staff should have been a little more friendly and welcoming. At 8:15 in the morning, the hot food for the continental breakfast was gone. The attendant said he didn't have time to refill it. He could have at least restocked the cold or grab and go items. There was almost nothing left. The breakfast went until 9:00.

I'll stay somewhere else next time I'm in Bemidji

I'm baffled that this hotel was rated 8.0. Desk employee at check in was surly and unwelcoming. Common areas were dirty. Room seemed to be clean but bedspread was stained. Internet was extremely slow.

Property is a bit worn and the carpet was not clean. The AC did not keep the room free of humidity ( it was hot and humid for Minn) Staff was helpful and the bed was comfortable.

Beds were quite hard. Did not like the area much. There were several questionable things happening in the facility itself. Some loud people, some other people wandering around the hallways. At one point o served a younger man going down the trying his key card in every door.

You pay for what you get, and with limited options on a holiday weekend this hotel stay was priced for what we got. The front desk service was slow and they did not have a room available for us at the check-in time. We had to wait around 15 minutes while the front desk worker continually called housekeeping to see what rooms were cleaned. We were asked if we had “other plans” and that we should go do them until they had a room ready. It took multiple attempts to confirm that there would be a front desk worker available if we came back later in the evening. When we checked back in at 10pm we finally got our key and were told to go to a different building. The new building had a foul odor in the entry and hallways. The carpet in our room was grimy feeling. The bathroom was not stocked completely with shampoo and soap. Luckily we brought our own so it wasn’t an issue for us, but it may be for others. The room had an A/C unit but was loud and rattling throughout the night. Overall it was not a pleasant experience I highly recommend looking elsewhere unless you are booking on short-notice like our party was.

Plugged shower

The room looked nice but the bathroom was dirty, the shower collected water like 20 seconds after it was turned on and was gross looking. I went to the front desk and they said they would send someone and no one came so I went back again and told a different person and he came and tried to unclog but couldn’t so poured draino down and said I couldn’t shower for 2 hours it was 10:30 at night. Waited and it still didn’t help!! No offer to shower in another room or change rooms mind you we paid $215 for this room.
