The facilities were fine. Some businesses nearby, but there's not like a 24-hour CVS or anything, and there is no bottled water in the room, so make sure you bring a filtered water bottle or get water before you settle in for the night.

I've stayed at this Embassy Suites location numerous times. This time was not its finest. When we arrived, the bathroom lights would not turn on. We called the front desk and were directed to text for service, not a fan of this. No response from the text, so I called again, and they said they would send someone up to fix it. Took about an hour without lights before everything was usable. The next day, I received a text saying there was an emergency water shutoff from 11am to 1pm. No big deal, these things happen. Still didn't have hot water at 5pm, and when it finally returned, it was a slow trickle. Not optimal for planning showers and life. Valet parking was slow and unorganized, especially for the cost. Overall, I think they were just having a bad week. It has always been a pleasant stay. This one was just a little off.

The room had a funny smell from plumbing. The comforters had stains as well.

We loved our stay here. The front desk staff were really friendly and always greeted us with a hello each time we passed them in the lobby area. Thanks for giving us a memorable stay and we will stay here again when in DC.

We only stayed there one night but perfect location if you are wanting to explore DC. Would stay again 10/10
