Accommodation near National Air and Space Museum

Great property. Very walkable to the Wharf and the Mall. Nice lawn where kids and run around

We recently stayed at the Hyatt Place DC/National Mall and had a great overall experience. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the National Mall, museums, and several major attractions like the Smithsonian and the Capitol. It made sightseeing with the family incredibly easy. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with modern decor and a cozy seating area that worked well for relaxing or getting a bit of work done. The beds were very comfortable and the blackout curtains helped ensure a good night's sleep. Breakfast was included and had a decent variety—hot options, fresh fruit, yogurt, and pastries. It can get a bit busy during peak times, but staff kept things replenished and tidy. There’s also a small café/bar in the lobby and a rooftop bar that offers great views of the city (especially beautiful at sunset!). The fitness center was clean and well-equipped, and the rooftop pool is a great bonus, especially in warmer weather. Staff were courteous and helpful throughout our stay, and check-in/check-out was seamless. The only downside was the parking—it's valet-only and a bit pricey, but that's fairly standard for the area. If you're visiting DC and want to be close to everything without breaking the bank, Hyatt Place on the National Mall is a solid choice. I

Pros: Very nice lobby, spa, fitness center and pool; clean and upgraded rooms; clean bathroom and linens, great view of the water; friendly staff; great amenities; great experience all around! Cons: parking and valet situation (at least at night) isn't very straightforward and needs better coordination. The staff never mentioned an app upon check in, but after we tried to retrieve the car, they told us to check the app/texts and we were confused.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the location was great. We were able to walk to most places we wanted to see. It was quiet and we felt safe with our kids. There's a McDonalds down the street along with a pizza place that I liked. Safeway was a 15 minute walk. I would absolutley stay here again.

My stay here was perfect! Clean, quiet and very convenient to walk to the museums or take the metro just below the hotel. Will definitely stay here again!
