Room was way too noisy at night.

This place is for someone just staying one night who is traveling through, not for someone on vacation. The bed is very old, no room service on the weekends, the fridge is very loud during the night and the A.C unit worked intermittently. This place should only charge $50 a night.

Be honest with services offered.

The hotel was clean, but offered no housekeeping services. Patron had to bring the old towels to laundry to swap out, did not offer connecting rooms, far parents, visible impaired sister could not get a room next door to caregiver.

The property's location is convenient. The front desk staff was friendly. The room was clean but had a musty smell. The box air conditioner worked fine. I appreciated the outlets and USB ports for charging cell phones and earbuds. That was the biggest advantage from other hotels I have stayed in. Our toilet had a stained ring in the toilet bowl, water in the tank intermittently ran, and issues with properly flushing. We only stayed for one night so was not as big an issue. I shared this with the front desk upon check out and she was receptive.

There was thick dust on the floor and bed from the A/C unit. I found a broom and swept it up. The pillows had a smell and the sheets are super scratchy. However, it was ok for what we needed it for.

The heater was not working and had a funny smell. But otherwise, the staff was very nice and accommodated us since we’re were going to arrive late. Not bad for a one night stop on our roadtrip to Florida.

I liked that the grounds were in good condition and that there was a stove and full-size fridge in the room. However, the room cleaning could have used a bit more detailing. The main thing I didn't like was I had a hard time getting clean towels from the front office. First of all, I had to bring used towels in for trade-ins, and second, with two people in the room, I was only given 3 full sets to use for that night and the next morning. Try dividing 2 people into 3 sets of bath towels. That leaves 1 set for the next morning. I didn't want their towels. Plus I paid a deposit that would have covered those dollar store towels even if it were so. This could have been a nice stay if not for the dirty door frame and the corners of the room. I'm going to find another place to unwind on the Gulf Coast.
