Great property to stay at when going to/from Heathrow.

This is an older hotel that has had a facelift / updating. When you first walk in you definitely smell all of the air fresheners that they have going all the time. Not unpleasant but if you have issues with scents, this will give you a headache. - Checking in is a very slow process. Bring your patience because you're going to need it. - The lifts are slow and are handling a lot of traffic. More patience here. - The doorways to the rooms are oddly small/compact. I had issues bringing a very standard-sized (not large) piece of luggage through it. - The bed was too soft in my opinion. I don't know if it's just sagging due to age or if they actually bought mattresses that sink like that but it definitely wasn't memory foam. - Water pressure in shower was awesome and had plenty of hot water. - Had dinner in their restaurant and my main (Grilled Chicken with Creamy Tarragon Sauce) was exceptional. However, my Lemon Creme Brulee had to be sent back as it was the consistency of soup. - Please know that they will automatically add a 12.5% service charge on the bill. This is OPTIONAL but they do not tell you that. *They provide you with a bus schedule to get to the airport. It is 6.8 pounds per person, but does come to the front door. However, if you go to the bus stop just down the street a few hundred feet, you can ride the 423 (if going to Terminal 5) for 1.75 pounds. I'm not certain why they are promoting a bus that is close to 4X the cost of a normal one.

The rooms were clean and also very quiet considering you’re attached to the airport. The breakfast was good with plenty of variety. Staff were polite and friendly.

Good over night stay pre flight

Good location to the airport and plenty of parking, although chargeable. Hotel feels run down, room keys are not great, had to go back down to reception to refresh the key as it wouldn’t open the door. Bar was heaving with a tour party staying so had to order room service.
