Seriously, teach your maids how to clean the rooms properly. Bed sheets had a stain on them and the floor was dirty. I found a piece of dried food next to the bed. Stayed for 2 nights and after the first night the maids did not come back to clean the room. Also paid additional for parking and the lot was full by the time we arrived. Makes absolutely no sense. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Will not be back!

The room was clean and updated. The bed was comfortable, too. We ate at the hotel restaurant because we didn't know the area and didn't find a whole lot of dining options- especially after 4pm. Parking was convenient- but not free. Also, they held $25 on my credit card just in case I broke something in the room. I've never had a national hotel chain do that to me before. (I've never broken anything either!)

Great Experience!

It was a great stay! The workers were very nice and helpful! The breakfast had a pretty good selection of food! The hotel is right next to the railroad and it was nice to see the train coming through!

Blue Ridge Getaway

Being right in the center of town made it very convenient to the shops and eating establishments. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom (especially the shower) was a plus. The toilet was very low to the floor, so us being an older couple, found that to be problematic, but other than that, we had no complaints. Breakfast was well stocked and provided a great many choices. We would definatley go back for another stay.

The only negative is it's near a historic train or rail system, so you may hear a train. But, the rooms were pretty sound proof as I slept right on through the train, and I only heard it when I was eating breakfast. Very good experience.
