Solitude is your ultimate sanctuary, featuring beautiful year-round mountain views and colorful sunrises. Enjoy the tranquility of the North Georgia mountains in pampered comfort and peaceful privacy.



**Gas Fireplaces are off for the summer and will be turned on approximately October 1**

You have found the perfect place to enjoy the true North Georgia mountain experience in pampered comfort and full privacy. About a 15 minute drive to downtown Blue Ridge or McCaysville.

5.5 acres of walkable property and not another cabin in sight! SOLITUDE is the perfect spot for your personal or family getaway no matter what activities you enjoy. Ideal location near everything in North Georgia!


Gas fireplaces are operational from approximately Oct. 1 to April 1. Not operational in summer.

The cabin and hot tub are professionally cleaned and disinfected in between every guest stay. We use bromine, not chlorine.

No pets allowed and absolutely no smoking inside or on decks. This is a wood cabin.

Limited check out chores. Garbage should be secured in the outdoor bins, used towels dropped in the tub and the dishwasher turned on.

Booking guest must be at least age 23 to book this cabin and must be present for the duration of the rental.

Booking this cabin requires a signed a rules acknowledgment pdf and proof of age ID from the person booking (to be completed within 48 hours). Failure to sign acknowledgment means your booking is not reserved. The person booking must be present at the cabin during the reservation.

Exterior cameras on driveway and door. Motion activated.

This cabin is fully licensed in Fannin County Georgia. Lodging Certificate #STR-059750. Licensed properties are required to display their certificate number in their listing.

Great quiet place for a base around Blue Ridge and surrounding areas

My wife was so excited to see the cute welcome basket with the bear and s'mores...it was a fun touch. The house was clean with plenty of towels and related amenities. Kitchen was well-appointed with ample dishes, silverware, and pots and pans. Plenty of room for us to spread out for some quiet time while also having a great downstairs and main area to hang out, watch TV, and shoot a few games of pool. Entire property was clean and functional.

Best place for a beautiful view and to relax!!

Husband and I came up with 2 of our daughters and their spouses and 2 of our grandsons. We did a little site seeing, went to the Apple Festival . We relaxed around the fire pit ate hotdogs and s’mores ! After the kids went to bed we got to enjoy the hot tub . The place is very up to date and has everything you need in a stay ! We plan to come back again .

Very clean and well appointed. Little things like having multiple lamps rather than just overhead lighting makes it feel like a home. The porches and wonderful. We spent most of our time in the lower room playing pool and watching baseball.

Great Times!

The property is well maintained and filled with character and nostalgia. We enjoyed the porch views, fire pit, hot tub, pool table, grill, and comfy beds. The area is peaceful and quiet. We spotted a family of deer, went to Merciers, explored downtown Blue Ridge, and so much more. Our two year old loved the bears and books. We arrived late at night and it was almost pitch black. I recommend arriving before sundown and make sure you have a vehicle that can handle the mountain terrain.

Peaceful Getaway!

Our family needed a vacation very badly with our college daughter needing a major surgery at the end of June on her hip! This cabin was everything we needed and more! We have stayed in many VRBO’s and a couple of different cabins but we can honestly say this stay was our favorite!!! The name Solitude was perfectly fitting for this cabin as it felt like we had the mountain to ourselves! We were only 20 minutes from Blue Ridge and other activities in the area. The host was phenomenal with responding to questions and met all our expectations!!! If you need a break from your busy life we recommend this cabin as your place of rest and relaxation!!! We WILL stay here again!!!

Gorgeous home

We absolutely loved the property. It was in absolute perfect condition for cleanliness. They provide all the little things some people tend to need. It was great to have the extra luxuries like the coffee, creamer and other niceties. There was a special gift that was given to say thank you that was absolutely awesome. Our family of 7 with Memaw and Grr Mommy and Daddy and 3 grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed our stay. ! The house and property were immaculate ! Our grandchildren loved the bear theme complete with many stuffed bear animals . They enjoyed naming all the little bears and playing with the many games available at the cabin.It was fun to be able to hike to a real cave without having to get in the car . All this within a 15 minute ride to shop for toys at Hucks . The view is absolutely beautiful! Everything was perfect . We made many memories. Thank you for sharing your mountain home!

"Solitude" lives up to it's name! Amazing property and gorgeous view!

This was our first time staying in a cabin, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but it was a fantastic experience overall! First and foremost...the view, the view, the view! Stunning! The cabin is lovely. I've never lived anywhere with wood floors, so it took a little time to get used to the creaking noise. No sneaking to the fridge for sure - lol! There was a book with information about the cabin and instructions on how to use the amenities, which was very helpful. The owner labeled all the switches which was also very helpful! We used the fireplace on the main level, the hot tub, the fire pit (owner provides the wood which is fantastic), and the grill - all were in great condition and we enjoyed them so much! The owner/host and the co-host were incredible to deal with. They both responded very quickly and were immensely helpful. My husband and I were looking for a very peaceful place with a beautiful view, and Solitude definitely delivered!

Pristine Cabin with Stunning Views

Solitude cabin was beautiful! It was clean, comfy and so well-equipped! We enjoyed the fire pit and hiking around the cabin to take in all the fall foliage. There is plenty to do in Solitude with activities like a pool table, hot tub, games & puzzles, grill for cooking out and plenty of seating out on the porch to eat or take in the stunning views. We loved our stay and would definitely go back!! In the general area are great places to go like Downtown Blueridge, Mercier Orchards and Amicacola Falls State Park.
