Budget friendly hidden little gem!

Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bossier City/Casino Area Bossier City, Louisiana was perfect for the our needs. The Owner and staff are so accommodating. I had the privilege of meeting the owners and they made us feel like family. We were going to stay there just a few days and go to another hotel as we had things thing to do in more than one area and just extended our stay here because they were so nice and we really loved the newly renovated rooms.

No wifi, had cable but couldn't stream. The landline phone to call front desk was just for show apparently. No tissues other than rough TP for blowing your nose. The toiletries are bottles attached to the wall. No free lotion or shampoo on their watch. The room was double beds for the 2 of us. One had dirty shoe prints on the weird overlay cover but the comforter and everything else seemed clean. The door to the room was hard to open and close it looked like it had been kicked in. There were some unsavory looking characters walking around too. It is ok for what it is.... a one night last minute somewhat affordable ( should have been about $35 less) the area isn't the worst, just noisy and the dumpster to Denny's is right there in the cracked, bumpy parking lot. I tripped and almost fell when I got out of my car because of a crack. Can't vouch for breakfast, with how the room and property were I was not open for more disappointment so skipped it. Bed was ok , ac cold, large TV and a neat vanity mirror with different light options. The light and vent combo in the bathroom was loud and bright as h3ll! Oh and the big concrete slab being built is going to be idk what, maybe an area to put tables, a common area? It was not for me and wouldn't go back. I would actually like some $ back but that's never going to happen so lesson learned and if anyone actually sees this review hope it is helpful.

Overall, this hotel stay was a good surprise for the price. The hotel was slightly noisy, but the this to be expected given that it was right off a major highway. The biggest downside is that there is no elevator at this hotel. I would definitely stay here again!

The lights outside of the room's stay on all night. You can pull the shade but enough light gets in that at 4:30 a.m. we thought it was daylight outside. The staff was very friendly. Prompt service. Check in was easy. The toom was nice and spacious.

There was so much noise at night. Banging and loud talking. During the day workers banging and hammering. A/C in the unit put out water. Everything in the room was wet. Worse place we have ever stayed. Would never stay here again!!!!

Overall Great Stay!

Stayed here 3 nights with my children while visiting family. Hotel doesn’t offer breakfast which was disappointing but there is a Denny’s less than a 2 minute walk from the property. There are a variety of food options conveniently close to the hotel. The cleanliness of the room was amazing. There was no carpet in the room, which I loved. You can tell that the rooms have been completely renovated. My family and I will definitely be staying here on our next visit.

Usually, I would say it was a good place to stay because I’ve stay there several times before after they did renovation, they no longer allow pets, I had to cancel my stay. Thank God I got the insurance just in case I had to cancel because I would’ve got my money back, so make sure to get the insurance.
