Room was mediocre, and the customer service was even worse. My flight was cancelled, so I requested a refund for the first night since I didn’t arrive until the following afternoon. Throughout my stay, I kept being told that the refund “depended on the manager” but would likely be approved given the circumstances. I spent the whole weekend trying to speak to this manager, only to be told things like, “They aren’t in right now—you can try again on Tuesday.” When I finally called back on Tuesday, 2 days after check out, a staff member suddenly changed their story, claiming I had checked in at 1 a.m. on Friday night—when in reality, I didn’t even land in Calgary until 1 p.m. the next day. On top of that, I was spammed with messages about joining their membership program and completing surveys, instead of any real help. When I finally reached the manager, she refused the refund based on the false claim that I had arrived at 1 a.m. Overall, a frustrating and disappointing experience from start to finish. especially when I had to rearrange my itinerary due to airline cancellation frustrations

Pros: Excellent Staff, excellent location, On site valet parking, Clean hotel and rooms Cons: Older hotel (some areas appear renovated, elevators and hallways) but room was dated particularly the bathroom, shower. Although room was clean with comfortable bed. Parking is an extra fee and underground parking is clean but tight entrance (would not attempt to park a large truck inside. Breakfast is not free but available. Overall - Happy with our stay, decent value if not expecting something new or too fancy. Location is key.
