Only positive is comfy bed

Hotel is bordered by I-94 on one side, and 24-hour truck parking on the other side, but hotel lobby doors are locked at 10pm, so that made us feel a little safer. Hotel lobby, stairs, and hallways were dirty. Room was clean, and beds were comfortable. Bathroom was tiny. Pool was OK, but hot tub was out of order, and we heard it has been that way for a long time. I would give this hotel a 2 1/2 stars at best.

For the price it was fine. Rooms were clean, workmanship of updates in the bathroom were not good. Beds were comfortable and different types of pillows to choose from were nice. The food area was suspect. When I looked at things the night before I noticed the fork for turning the waffles was dirty and was still there in the morning. Made me wonder about a lot of things.

Owner lied about pool being under construction could see the pool and hottub through the windows, 0 construction and everything working fine, horrible food for continental breakfast, the orange juice and apple juice were mixed with water, no bibles in the rooms, door mechanism was broken could not lock the room so had to keep valuables on our person, will never go there again

We got this room for the hot tub which did not work and they knew about it and they said nothing about this to us when we booked it or when we checked in only stayed one night they won’t give us a refund back the front desk people were very mean to my wife and I

Mattress's were old and lumpy and so was the bedding wore out and lumpy. Manager needs to dress so he doesn't look like he is taking out the garbage!!! Wake up calls don't work---they have to knock on your door to wake you up. Decaf coffee was cold--just dumped it. Syrup and peanut butter condiment's were all mixed together.

Don’t believe the star ratings

I stayed at this hotel solely due to the ratings it received. I never would have rented such a room had I known. Overall, the place was extremely dirty. The room was not even remotely up to the basic cleanliness standards. There was toothpaste splatter all over the walls, Blood on the Jacuzzi, and general filth in the bathroom. The door jams and metal items in the bathroom were so rusted and peeling that I cannot remember a time where I have ever seen such poor maintenance at a Americinn hotel.

Staff lives on property and very unprofessional, the way they talk, dress, and how they take care of the hotel. 1-Dog hair all over 2- no electronic works in room 3- disgusting towels in rooms 4-bathrooms are just sick 5-do not use the pool! Smells like pee Would not stay at ameriainn for free!

Service was good. There were signs of some updating, such as painters tape on the vaulted ceilings in the lobby. The hot tub had half the water level and was colder than the pool but did not have any sign stating it was out of order. I could tell they were trying but need a fair amount of help updating.
