Stopped overnight on our trip to see the grandchildren. We weren’t looking to spend a large amount for a room. This room met our expectations, and we drove into the quaint historic district of Dalton.

This is a simple budget hotel. Don’t expect luxury, you won’t get it. But you do get a nice sized room at an excellent price. It’s clean, quiet, and we felt secure. The bed is comfortable, although they have gone to those small pillows that a lot of hotels now have. We bring our own now since those are way too small. We’ve stayed at this hotel several times in the past. I will say that this time we noticed the bathroom was not quite as clean as before. Hopefully it was just missed or a hurried job this time. It was very minor though. The pool was closed, which we thought was odd since our stay was mid June. It was closed this same time of year last year too so it may just be permanently closed. We weren’t there for the pool though so it didn’t bother us. The breakfast is just ok. Bagels, muffins, pastries, sausage biscuits to heat in a microwave, cereal, and juices. Simple, but again the cost to stay is very low. I do recommend this hotel if you’re passing through. Oh… and the toilet paper roll was put on the wrong direction. :) But I won’t take a star off for that.

Beds comfy. Shower water hot and had amazing pressure. Breakfast options were fine. Everything was good. Only needed somewhere to sleep and shower, in the middle of a long roadtrip.

The property was very and safe. First week of June and the pool was closed. Coffee was excellent - breakfast was minimal but was as expected. WIFI was very slow and unpredictable at time(evening). I would stay there again if the budget dictated.

Staff was not nice except for the older gentleman he tried to be nice. The pool has been shut down for 7 years. The staff is also the cleaning folks they asked if we want the room cleaned daily we opted out due to really didn't want them in our room. Room was clean everything worked as it should. Breakfast is not worth it. Bottom line if you need a place to crash for the night great place anything other than that go somewhere else.

The place was fine, and clean enough for a one night stay. The service was excellent as we came in late at night. I can’t remember her name, except she had her nails done nicely. She was our 5 star. Thanks.

Better than Expected!

Really well kept hotel for an overnight stop. Rooms are renovated and very clean and comfortable . Continental breakfast was much more complete than expected. Great economical place to stay!

Unfriendly and Smelly

Front desk were rude and borderline rolled their eyes when I walked in. Everytime I turned around when unloading my car the owner was watching me. Almost as if he was watching me like “I’m stealing”. Two different occasions I was there. Neither were anything close to comforting. I never take time to leave reviews but after wasting my money here for “the pool”, dealing with the rude front desk, and being Hawkeyed by the owner, I felt I could leave one. The only perk was its location and it had a decent cold breakfast option. Not to mention every room stunk like smoke. WiFi was terrible as well. Deff better options than here.
