The hotel room had a number of significant issues.
Specifically:
There was an infestation of flying black flies/gnats in the room. They were everywhere, getting into our food and beverage. One was discovered in the refrigerator. They were all over the bathroom: on the mirror, walls, shower, and toilet. I voiced my complaints. A different room was offered. The desk clerk informed me that these pests are "all over," including at the check-in counter.
I have multiple red, itchy marks on my extremities. I believe the bugs bit me.
A couple traveling from out-of-state said they noticed flying bugs in the breakfast area.
I placed several cola, sweetened coffee, and sugar water covered containers and cups in the bed and bathroom. The cups had many, many drowned pests. The evidence was shown to the desk clerk.
I spoke with another hotel guest who said the flying bugs were also in his room. Several guests who attended the church service also said they noticed numerous bugs flying around the event room.
The event room was next to our room. There was a very large gathering of folks hosting a church service for 6 hours. The music was very loud with bongos and other instruments.
Assigned the room right adjacent to this event. With bongos and other instruments, the music was very loud.
The shower and sink had stains. The walls were filthy.
Mold and leakage on the ceiling just outside our room.
The lampshades dirty, dusty with hole.
Microwave and replacement
didn't work. Bad!
