This hotel has been our “go to” place since 2020. Anywhere from last minute overnight stays to family weekend getaways. I have to admit, this hotel has since gone down hill. The staff are just as friendly as the previous employees, however, the rooms and property have taken a turn for the worse. It was once a lively place to be, but I saw maybe 15 people in the last 4 days. We were told that since 2020, the property has been sold twice! Unfortunately, we have decided that this will be our last stay going forward unless something changes.

Breakfast was good but could be a little better. Rooms were in need of alot of work. This was the worst that El Caribe has been since I've been coming over the last 20 + yrs. New owners need to step up and bring life back into a place that used to be nice.

The elevator stopped working less than an hour after we arrived and was not repaired until the next day. Our room was on the 6th floor, and there was no information provided about the situation, nor were we offered to move to another room. My husband has health problems, and we had to go up and down the stairs several times.

Location was far enough away from all the bikes during biketoberfest. The elevator was not working last night and we had to walk up six flights of stairs but it was working this morning. It was a standard plus continental breakfast. Motorcycle dedicated parking was wonderful.

Poor conditions for the room. Rust and what appeared to be mold in the bathroom. Rusted locking mechanism for back door. Back door didn’t secure properly. Bed frame felt broken and sunk in. Paint peeling from ceilings. Just an overall poor condition room. The “breakfast” was just cereal and prepackaged snack cakes.

The minute we checked in and room keys didnt work Toilet didnt flush ice machine wasnt working door to balcony was jammed terrible conditions after dinner came back we coulnt get to the room waited 46 minutes fir maintenance to show up another 15 minutes to finnaly walked in the front desk staff was no help no very service oriented. Continue with out ice. Finally we stayed for one night had to make reservations to another hotel Delta Marriot Bon voy was so much better. Which i believe i should be refunded for the two nights i had reserved atcthe Caribe resort terrible experience.
