At the risk of trading in cliches the Fullerton had that “old world charm “ you’d expect from a European hotel . The staff were friendly , helpful but never overbearing and although I didn’t eat at the restaurant I did enjoy an ice cold Japanese lager in the bar late on my last night . Finally , the location is close to hatted restaurants , high end shopping circulate quay and the hotel building is adjacent to the old Martin place postal building which is one of the finest examples of Victorian architecture in Australia.

Great customer and a convenient central location. This hotel has improved since last time I stayed there.

Lovely hotel. Staff were excellent - very helpful, warm and friendly. The room was very comfortable with a lovely view of the Yarra - it was just a little dated and tired. Hotel was a short walk in to the city and an easy transfer to all the other sites and attractions. We had a fabulous stay and would recommend.
