Fullerton is clean and the 2-bedroom room was spacious, especially the bathroom. The staff was friendly. They held our luggage and arranged taxis for us seamlessly. My only concerns were it took awhile for our luggage to be delivered to our room (about 45 mins) which prevented us from leaving on time for our dinner plans. We were also woken up by housekeeping ringing the doorbell to our room at 9:15 on a Saturday morning; perhaps this was our fault for not lighting the “do not disturb” sign. And although the hotel charges fees for late checkout, they do not credit an early checkout (we checked out at 8:30 am). Overall, fancy hotel but some of the finer details could use a little fine tuning.

This was our second time staying for two nights at the Fullerton Hotel Sydney. We came back as we loved it so much and the service had made us feel so welcome. We also loved how central it is and timeless. However, the staff this stay didn’t seem to value our time, were not attentive when we were trying to checkout and at times, I felt judged by my appearance and whether I could afford valet parking. We will stay again but I hope the service improves.

A quick one night stay between trips however the hotel was a gem. Enveloping the old NSW postal system headquarters l, the building nicely merges the past and the present. Well appointed rooms with an excellent and attentive staff. One minor hiccup with the shower temperature varying mid use, this could be dangerous.
