Luckily I had Orbitz rewards to save on this stay. However I was reminded at check in and check out how I used a third party and quite rudely at check out. We came for the hot tub which was not in use and seemed to be out for a while with no notice. The pool area was honestly kind of gross with stains all over I used it any way because I paid to stay there.

Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Even though we are both ambulatory, there was not an elevator for those who are non-ambulatory. The room was clean but dated. Tried to plug in our chargers for our cellphones and several of the outlets did not work as the connections were too loose. The light bulb in the lamp above the coffee maker was out.

The is the only hotel we've stayed at for years

Our son and his wife live in Cloquet, and when we visit them, they haven't had the room in their apartment for us over the years for us to stay with them. We have always stayed at the Americinn by Windham,and have never been disappointed.

Not clean.

Carpet was dusty around furniture/beds. Office chair in room had crumbs on it. Crumbs under night stand. Mens underwear under bench next to the wardrobe. Lipstick case under/next to bed. Hallway smelled like greasy food/onions. Breakfast in food warmers seemed days old. Couldn't get a rate reduction due to not booking with the hotel itself.

We were happy to find a place for a last minute funeral. The facility could use an update. The wall individual air conditioner was loud. The halls are dark. The breakfast was fine. It was clean and personnel were friendly.
