Great stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Country Inn of Two Harbors. Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff. My only negative was the breakfast. It was fine, but nothing special. I enjoyed having a hot tub in the room to soak my feet after a day of hiking to see Split Rock Light House and Gooseberry Falls.

We loved the stay, we had hoped the breakfast had more options. The beds were pretty lumpy. The carpet felt damp. We loved the miniature golf, and all the access to local dining and shopping. Especially a grocery store across the street. We would stay again. This place is cozy!

Good: The room was clean. Bad. No wash cloths or hand towels in room. Had to ask front desk for two sets. Check in girl at the desk with the tatoos needs to be more welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was all prepackaged foods. Only hot foods were scrambled eggs and sausages. Considering the rather high room rates, this hotel needs to work on the issues mentioned above. It does not rate a 9.2 on a ten point scale at present.
