Shower had hairs in it. Shower curtain, bedding, lampshade was torn. Hotel needs a refresh! Breakfast area was dirty, trash was overflowing, tables needed wiping down. Staff was always in back room instead waiting to greet guests as they came in lobby. One of the few hotels in Oxford so that is disappointing that they don’t put more effort in.

The property needs a facelift. The pool was broken. Our room was dirty, The breakfast was terrible—one of the sausages was dry as the Sahara and I fear had been reheated from the breakfast the day before. So glad I didn’t get food poisoning. The fried eggs looked like little yellow rubbery pancakes. The man at the check in desk was polite enough but cheerless, lethargic, and incredibly slow at his job. The equipment behind the desk used to process my payment and check us in looked like what they used back in the 1980s. I believe the staff should tour a few other hotels just to see how others manage guests. We asked the man at check in if he had any restaurant recommendations for us, and he couldn’t think of a single one. It was weird.

Extremely run down - mold in shower, pealing ceiling, old, worn furniture, about 15-20 years past an update. Front desk is frequently unattended. And they charge $200 a night due to proximity to college.

I was very disappointed with this hotel for a $500 two night stay. The only thing it has going for it is proximity to Miami. Very old and in need of updating. No coffee at breakfast first morning - send someone to walmart to buy a temporary replacement next time. Worst hotel breakfast I have ever seen - inedible. Even the clementine was dry and inedible. Pool out of service. Pitiful fitness room. Bathroom door squeaked loudly which is unacceptable. Lightbulb out in bathroom. Fridge noisy. Need quarters to get bottled water - none in vending machine. Would not choose to stay there again if something else available. Do better for your customers.
