The air didn't cool the room. No TV! Front desk person was sneezing all over the desk, no smile, unfriendly, obviously there only for a paycheck. Cost WAY to much for that hotel in that area. Awful experience.

Enjoyable site, we stayed two nights. Granddaughter liked the fitness room. Breakfast area and options were good. We used it as a jumping off point to go to Grand Portage. Fun downtown and access to the lake. Great miniature golf course.

Easy and short walking distance to town. Large number of noisy kids in pool, who's adult supervisors, did not calm down their 5 or more kids, so that others could use the pool and hot tub, enjoyably. Breakfast offerings were poor: cold cereal, bagels, 5-inch premade cold pancakes, muffins, bread, just regular coffee, juice, milk, small selection of tea, and small apples and oranges. Room had chair with torn fabric on its seat, and widow inside molding was peeling. Outside hotel doors were not set up to be locked at night.

Overal very unsatisfactory. Smell of sewage in the hallways was almost intolerable. Breakfast room was disgusting...Too much soap used on floor & shoes squeaked, tables ip against very dirty window ledges & breakfast offered was very poor. Upon checkiut, I returned room key & clerk was using her phone telling Siri to call so & so, she didn't hangup when she saw me, didn't ask how my stay was, didn't thank me, but kept on her phone & gave me a thumbs up as I walked away...She barely acknowledged me & didn't say one word to me. All in all, a very unsatisfactory experience.
