I liked the hotel. The room was clean and spacious. It appears to be an old hotel with some upgrades to aesthetics.

Staff was awesome. I was shocked to learn that there was no heat in the hotel. It was extremely cold due to weather changes. We were issued another blanket and a heater. The refrigerator was not working so, drinks were not kept cold. But my biggest disappointment were the roaches. Once the evening hit and lights were out, they were all by the door and inside the bathroom. There were a few that made their way to the counter and drawer. This made my stay very uncomfortable. Didn't want to chance a different room as this may be a hotel issue and not specific to the room. I was also unable to get a refund from Expedia. I will not return to this hotel.

Clean room, hotel was nice and quiet. The staff was great. The hotel is conveniently located near the interstate, offering easy access in any direction, and it's close to restaurants.

Overall very comfortable. Parking was free, but hard to come by. The lobby and rooms were clean. The elevators needed maintenance and cleaning ( only 2/4 were working during our stay and there was frequently trash on the floor ). We didn’t try the food or pool, but the dining area looked nice. There’s a Starbucks in the lobby, which also seemed like a nice bonus!

“My experience in the room was extremely upsetting. I found a cockroach in the restroom, blood on one of the pillows, and a large amount of mold in the air conditioner. This situation made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. I reported everything and sent pictures almost a month ago, and it’s very frustrating and disappointing that I still haven’t received any response from them

When I write a review, I am very careful to state facts, in regards to issues and feelings when celebrating successes. I realize that each individual reading the review will have their own measurement of standards. The Marriot has never disappointed me, until now. FACT: This is a pet friendly hotel. We are not currently pet owners but we do have a level of understanding & expectation management for those that bring their fur-babies on trips. We did not expect to be bitten by ticks and find them in the bed. No new room was offered just the promise of a deep cleaning. Not sure how well that went since we caught one and turned it over to housekeeping but still got bit 3 more times. FACTS: The TV didn't work, come on, get warm nor make a sound. Simply broke. FACTS: The bathroom vanity outlet, the nightstand USB port for a charger and a table outlet didn't work. The vanity outlet had been repaired but spray painted over it to make it look white again. (Likely why it didn't work) FACTS: Very old in appearance, bootleg repair, damaged

The room was beyond neglected. Carpet was grimy and white particles on corner looked like sheet rock chalk on carpet. Can’t walk bare feet since felt like carpet was sticky and my feet got itchy. Broken bed frame and there’s a hole by headboard that was covered by white tape and even tape was broken also. One side outlet did not work with USB AC plug not working. Faucet had calcium deposits like it was never cleaned for months
