I had an extremely disappointing experience at Hyatt House due to the abysmal customer service. Housekeeping was supposed to clean my room daily, yet I had to repeatedly request service, practically begging just to get basic cleaning. It took hours just to receive a fresh set of towels and a thicker comforter. When housekeeping finally arrived—only after I stood in the hallway to flag them down—the staff merely changed the bed linens, replaced the towels, and emptied the trash. They did not sanitize the bathroom, clean the shower glass or mirror, nor sweep and mop the floors. Instead, I watched as the worker vacuumed the bathroom floor rather than sweeping it properly.
To make matters worse, housekeeping later falsely claimed they had cleaned my room twice in one day, which was completely untrue. I will not tolerate dishonest employees making false statements about me or my family.
On top of the poor housekeeping, the overall customer service was cold and unwelcoming. No warm greeting upon entering the hotel, no effort to make guests feel valued. The restaurant service was just as bad the cooks couldn’t even get simple dishes like fries right, burning them and refusing to take accountability.
For the price this hotel charges, the service should be far better. Instead, I received cheap, inattentive service that made my stay frustrating and uncomfortable. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel at all costs. Management needs to completely overhaul their staff, from the top!
