The location was ideal for an overnight after our cruise and before pur flight home the next day. The restaurants in walking distance made our stay more comfortable. The shuttle to the airport was timely and convenient. Only negative was the check in process. We arrived at 10am and put our name on the early check in list and told to return later to check the status. We went to the pool which was nice and refreshing but when rain hit around 1pm, we decided to check with the front desk about our early check in. The lobby was packed with people waiting for their rooms. It felt disorganized and not well executed. Guests became short tempered with the lack of communication from the staff. More than one guest complained that their "clean" room was still dirty and needed serviced. The facility is outdated and the rooms could use a makeover. All in all, it was fine for one night but I wouldn't choose to stay there again with other options in the area.

I normally don’t review hotels we have stayed at but i was blown away by this property; it was clean and had very caring staff (front desk, house keeping ) but the star(s) of the show were the ladies at the breakfast buffet. They were interactive and extremely on top of their business it was great. It even seemed like they enjoy what they were doing every day. My son and I both had a laugh as these wonderful ladies during clean up (post service) were jovial with all guest as well as each other. I hope this holiday inn express realize the asset they have would 100% recommend this accommodation
