Visited from out of state for a wedding. We ended up staying in a suite. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only issues I had were that the latch lock was broken and the bathroom exhaust fan didn't work or it didnt have one. The bathroom floor became very slippery because of the moisture buildup.

We were put in a dirty room. Both trashcans were full of trash. There were soda can rings on the nightstand. And the bed wasnt made. The carpets definitely needed an overhaul. The only positive thing that I can say is that it was close to the Mothman Museum, which is why we were staying.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience at Quality Inn was so awful that I had to say something. I stayed here with my family, and we always book non-smoking rooms due to my sensitivity to smoke — it makes me nauseous. Despite our clear request, the second floor hallway reeked of cigarette smoke so badly that the smell lingered in my hair and seeped into our room. It was absolutely disgusting. Cleanliness was beyond unacceptable. I don’t care about fancy amenities — I just want a clean place to sleep. Instead, we walked into a room that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned properly in ages: Toilet looked like it had never seen a toilet brush. Phone was coated in dust — decades' worth, it seemed. Walls had brown stains on them — no idea what they were, but it was disturbing. Comforter had blue ink stains all over it. I took photos and videos of everything and will be posting them because people deserve to see what they’re walking into. I don’t recommend staying here to anyone, especially if you care about cleanliness or have any sensitivity to smoke. FYI. The app won't let me add photos. Even though it says I can add at least 8.

There was no water upon arrival. Staff was not apologetic about it at all. The guy seemed irritated by the whole thing, the gal seemed to think it was hilarious, which it wasn't. There was a ruckus in the parking lot outside our window early in the morning, waking us up. Looked like a car getting towed by a wrecker, but the operator kept setting off car alarms. The breakfast was limited, minimal choices, mediocre quality, with cruddy coffee. The room was smelly and seemed dirty. Amenities are quite sparse, like not even a soap dish. The body wash for the shower was attached to the wall about 3 feet away from the shower. Now THAT is hilarious. There are better choices in the area. We won't be staying here again.

Do not eat the breakfast

We stayed for a night since it was close to point pleasant. The man at the desk was kind however failed to mention what time “breakfast” was. We got to our room and we believed everything was fine. We discovered that the bathtub stopper didn’t work and was pulled to the side. There was some sort of grime on the drain and on the sink that made me not touch the shower and make sure I used hot water when washing my hands. The bed was tall had to run and jump into the bed. Came down for “breakfast” that was not like normal hotels. There was a lady waiting on us who had ann eyebrow piercing said we could pick 3 things from the lis ening of foods we wanted. I decided eggs, potatoes and a bagel should be safe. I thought wrong our food came out and the eggs were tepid at best, my bagel was cold only thing I ate was the potatoes which were barely warm. The eggs were also gross tasted like powdered egg mix. There were multiple people who didn’t even eat the food I’m not sure if it was cold or what. We had no elevator too. Was excited about the breakfast from reviews and left disappointed that it wasn’t as good as I was hoping. Building is in need of updates on the outside and the microwaves.

This is the 5th time I have stayed at this hotel. I keep giving it another chance to redeem itself. However, there is always an issue with cleanliness. ie. stained towels, carpet unswept, stains on the bathroom walls. At least the staff are nice and accommodating.
