Staff were great, room was standard, cleaned regularly, we had ocean view only from our balcony. Breakfast was relatively good- lots of variety. The hotel is dated and needs a refresh. The pool was great on days it was hot otherwise the water was too cold to swim in (I don't think it's heated) apart from the spa. Kids loved it. Good transport link - only one stop to Broadbeach and 2 stops to Cavill Ave. We hired a car but didn't really need it. Not a huge amount of things to do in the vicinity directly outside hotel, such as restaurants so you have to hop on the tram but it's a quick stop so wasn't an issue. The restaurant on the top floor is highly recommended with a great view although comes with a price tag - had my bday there and it was lovely.

Hotel was good but the Christmas buffet was extremely disappointing for the price. I would never go back. Dry meat no gravy cold, Average variety and poor service. The meat should be carved on the spot so it’s not dry and cold. Seafood average quality. If you want to charge at the top end of town you need to provide high quality food and service. It was at pub standard.
