Recently renovated, the room was great. They were responsive to a problem we had with the room - TV wasn't working - they resolved the problem in short order.

The room looked like it was in the middle of a renovation. Toilet paper holder was falling off the wall. No battery in the smoke detector. Dirty baseboards. Generally needed drywall finished and a fresh coat of paint. I know not everyone agrees on how firm a bed should be, but the bed was very firm (not comfortable after a day of hiking) and so were the pillows.

Hotel was in the middle of nowhere but luckily there is gas on the other side of the street. Lots of views similar to places on Mars. Overall a respite from the wilderness that is all around it.

Considerate staff that kept my hotel key available to me though I didn’t arrive until late in the night. Excellent location for hiking around in the area. Would stay here again!

We wished the housekeeper respect our "request" that we do not need the room to be clean by not placing the magnet sign at the front side of the door. We understand that they work hard to ensure the cleanliness of the bathroom, but we did not ask for it and we disappointed that they entered our room without being asked for.

I was very surprised at how nice the motel was seeing as it is old and in the middle of no where. It has all been redone recently and I was very pleased with what we got for the price. the bed was very comfortable and the it was very clean.
