When checking the room upon arrival, I found a half drunk bottle of Fireball Whiskey in the refrigerator. I also found the overhead light in the bathroom didn't have a light bulb or the globe to cover the light. The mat to step on from the shower was nasty and there were screws in the floor all around the mat. I am not sure the floor was even vacuumed.

Disappointed that the pool is closed for repairs. Purposefully chose a hotel with a pool hoping to use it after a long day of traveling in hot weather. Room was clean and quiet. Great water pressure in the shower!

The check in was ok. The lobby area was a little different. There are multiple levels on the property with short staircases. As if it's been added onto a few times. Not a problem for most people but it could be an issue for someone using a walker or wheelchair. The "breakfast" was not much. Mostly just cereal and bread. Needs improvement.

I was only staying for one night, so some of the small issues did not bother me. Electric outlets only worked if light switch was on, which I didn't figure out until my stay was almost over. I did really like the view of the pond and it was very quiet. Staff were pleasant.

Pros: the lake is cool, outside seating area, dining option right next door, very quiet, breakfast options plentiful enough, staff friendly, felt clean enough. Cons: pool is out of order (looks like it’s been a good while too), gym is laughable and no cleaning products, mattress was old AF, cash only for the ‘vending’ isn’t convenient.

Cheats!

I did NOT stay. The hotel was not up to our standards and the lady at the front desk told me that a full refund was being processed. I STILL have not been refunded and it has been almost 2 weeks!!!! This is insane and I will be calling the hotel on Monday!!!
