This is NOT a luxury resort as advertised. It is more like a motel six with separate buildings. The rooms are fine If you just need a place to stay but do NOT expect it to be a place to do things or that it's cozy. The buildings are very old and they have replaced some sinks and possibly the generic carpet, parts of the siding and stairs . What you should expect is a crappy stay away camp you went to as a kid. The breakfast was worse than the rooms The first cup and then the second, third, forth and so on were absolutely gross with crusted food and coffee still in them. The food was completely cold and inedible. I booked this as a 2 night mother daughter trip thinking it would be a nice getaway. As soon as we pulled into the property I was worried. I ended up leaving early , was told they would refund me for the second night and got an email saying they won't. The people in the office were talking about how they updated it so much. I cannot imagine what it was before. I sound snotty and entitled but this was FALSELY advertised. I spoke with another guest and they were just as disappointed and glad they had only stayed for one night.

Cozy, quiet, scenic, accomodating & friendly staff. One of the most comfortable beds Ive slept on. Amazing food at the restaurant. We didn't get to stay long but will plan a trip in the summer when we can do several days swimming and enjoying the horses. Amazing stay!

Great room, felt private. Lovely electric fireplace only negative is decaf coffee was not offered in room or at breakfast-- being pregnant and loving coffee, that was unfortunate. Breakfast could have benefitted from yogurt/granola option. Also more outdoor lighting in parking lots would be helpful. Had to hold hubby's hand a lot at night over the uneven/slopey spots due to not being able to see. Gym was definitely lacking. Needed some TLC. Looked like it hadn't been serviced in some time.

Staff was wonderful, especially Shay! Informative, friendly, and made us feel like family. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, only suggestion is to update the spring mattress. Breakfast was good but repetitive, maybe change up the choices. Horseback riding on site was amazing and our guide Grace was fantastic! Only complaint was Thanksgiving dinner, it was overpriced and food was terrible and cold. Overall we will definitely be back!

This resort is definitely rustic. The bathroom has been remodeled and the room is spacious. It has yucky stained carpeting in the rooms and hallways, which is unappealing. The coffee maker downstairs is a very old model that guests have to make on their own. Not sure who is cleaning it? We stayed 3 nights and our room wasn’t serviced or towels changed. The breakfast buffet is decent and included.
