We loved the riverfront balcony. The room was clean and comfortable. The beds were great and very comfy. The proximity to everything was a plus. We enjoyed our stay immensely as we have previously. We will be back.

Great stay would definitely stay there again celebrated birthday and loved everything was walkable and went to check-in and the lady checked if the room was ready great service

Very reminiscent of old Hotels in Austrian Alps, Bavaria and in small towns along the Mosel and Rhine Rivers. Location next to the river was fun and atmosphere was festive. Nice get away weekend in delightful North Georgia.

The Helendorf is right in the heart of town near the famous bridge and near the restaurants and shopping. The rooms are on the Chattahoochee river.

Great hotel in great location with balcony views of river. However directly across river was brightly lit parking lot and bar band that played loudly until late night and ruined the experience.

This is such a nicely-themed property, and it’s a plus to have the Chattahoochee River just outside our room. There are several stairways that lead right down to the river.

Its a bit outdated, but was decent. There was a lot of mattress protectors and it was decent considering the price factor. It was near all the shops and parking was decent. The walls are super thin though so we did feel some banging around from the room next door to us. The staff was friendly and always available and checked in with us at reasonable times. We checked in kind of late but didn't seem to be an issue. Checking in and out was super simple. Would most likely stay here again.

I had stayed before in Helen, but never one of the charming , older ones ! That was this establishment. Right next door to the stellar Bodensee restaurant and the thrilling Alpine coaster. This place rocks. It is clear the care and preservation they put into the property. The breakfast was a great variety of pre packed goodies, and fresh juices. Better than I expected ; The set up was so easy and convenient! I love the cats on the property. It was such a low key and relaxed atmosphere. The lobby looks like the Hufflepuff Common House in the best way! I will always recommend this property to any friends wanting the ultimate Helen experience. The cool, misty mornings at the creek are a reason alone to make the visit.
