Check in was simple and check out was just leaving the key, parking is good and overall in a good location, and the room was decently cleaned upon our arrival, these are only reasons I gave them 2 stars instead of 1. Now for the bad, the rooms are old and small, walls are stained, the seals on the door aren’t the best, also very thin walls. They also have a stink bug problem and don’t want to admit it, we had a total of 7 bugs that we found over our 3 night stay. As first we thought it was a fluke as they are in the mountains and as a Floridian I know bugs happen sometimes, but nothing beats having a big fly at your head while trying to eat and walking up to bugs crawling on the wall over multiple days. The housekeeper was very sweet and gave us extra towels when requested and trash bags so I could bag up my trash and place it outside as I usually don’t request room cleanings during hotel stays, but one of the towels I got had a bug leg attached to it. The coffee machine was down but I was able to get hot water for my tea from it and they had a coffee pot going for those who wanted coffee, and breakfast is very limited. They had sunny d, toast, coffee and muffins and yogurt. Over all would not stay here again and don’t recommend unless you want to deal with bugs. This place has a lot of potential but they really need to fix the bug problem and update the rooms.

Average budget hotel. Shower curtain bar pulling out of wall and sagging down like it has done many times before (obvious by multiple repair sites). Sink cracked. Black along baseboards and paint missing on corners. A/C unit loud and top plastic cracked so bad you could get your hand in there. Don’t get a room under the outside wooden staircases (ex #102). People suck and sounds like a herd of elephants going up and down. Black drain flies everywhere, must have killed 15. Trash everywhere outside, even some old furniture stacked up by the firepit. I guess to burn? I could go on, but by previous reviews, I knew what I was getting into. Stayed here years back and I remember it being pretty nice even for it’s age. Not so much now.

Have to admit, the motel does not look very promising from the outside. The grounds could use a lot of work. However, walking into my room I had a completely different view. The room was very neat and clean. It had a nice shower and a very comfortable bed. I could not have been more pleased.pleased.

Reserved a room with one king bed a week before staying there or more, drove 4 hours and got there around 11 at night and was gave a room with 2 full beds and it smelled like straight weed in that non smoking room. Was ridiculous and called the man in the building and he said someone booked over me but there was 3 rooms left when I booked it. View is alright that’s about it.

My room was clean the bed was super comfortable so were the pillows. The front desk person was friendly and informative. I did not eat breakfast there because I meet family for lunch. I would definitely stay there again.
