We stayed two nights on a vacation trip. Overall a good deal. The premises a bit rundown but the room was excellent, clean. The salt water outdoor pool was small but nice, the breakfast mediocre even for a continental one.

Unfortunately we could not stay here, I had to take my family down the street to a different hotel. The room was damp feeling, mildew smell and stains all over the e bed and couch. I walked in the room and turned around and walked right back out. Couldn’t do it. I do not recommend, I was not eligible for a refund so I paid for two rooms that night. If your staying in Helen, GA just book a room at the Holiday Inn Express.

Nice older hotel walkable for town good parking. No cable tv Wi-Fi only unusable for me ( 70 not high tech ), shower curtain rod was almost off the wall breakfast and coffee nothing special and a parking charge I don’t understand at all ? Plenty of hotels in town I don’t think I would stay there again

After check in we went to assigned room (110) and the previous guest smoke in the room. 2 employees came to our rescue, try to clean the room, but the cigarette smell was too strong. We got a different room (131). Everything was fine until we check out this morning. Front desk Ms Lynn was absolutely unkind. I walked in with a small cooler and request ice, since the ice machine isn't working. She offer me a cup!!! of ice, or suggest to go somewhere else and buy a bag. That small cooler is to keep cool our dog food. She didnt even ask or tried at least to be empathetic. A small bag of ice would have been enough. Thank God for the housekeeping lady who helped us. Ms Lynn check us out, walked away from the front desk and left. No receipt. Customer service ZERO. Hospitality at it worse. Then, when i checked my credit card i have 3 charges from the hotel. Called the hotel, waiting on them to call me back. The Quiñones family

AMAZING! Rooms in beautiful condition and clean as a whistle. Front Desk Clerk was so nice and helpful and location to walk downtown is fantastic. Will definitely be staying there again.
