Cheap Hotels in Historic Downtown Coronado

We absolutely enjoyed celebrating our anniversary here!

Walkable to the trolley station. It had conveniently had an outside restaurant part of the hotel, but also some other restaurants that were walkable to. Side note: We wish they had usb plugs to help people charge their items.

We had such a great stay at this resort! Upon checkin, we were greeted by 3 different staff members. They upgraded us for free to a studio room with a kitchenette! The property itself is just beautiful with so many tropical plants, trees, and flowers everywhere you look. The playground for our toddler was a huge hit! We were in the building the farthest away from the front of the resort, but it did not take long to walk at all. We frequented the restaurant several times. A little over priced, but it is a California resort, so taking that into consideration, it felt fine. The food was amazing every time! We got coffee and breakfast from the air stream several times and it was always quick and delicious. We loved visiting the rescued sea lions, and watching them being fed at 9 and 2 each day. The resort is super close to Sea World, and any store you could possibly need. Oh, and the private beach was just amazing. We were there the first week in May, so it wasn't busy at all and didn't have to fight crowds or people for the chairs or sofa loungers. Honestly everything was great! We will 100% stay here again, and next time we'll get a room that overlooks the private beach for sure. The resort is older, but it is extremely well maintained and didn't feel old or dirty in the room or bathroom, which our bathroom was small, but modern.
